About the event
The Lakewood Ranch Wind Ensemble respectfully presents Where Heroes Rest, a Memorial Day ceremony dedicated to honoring the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
Held at Sarasota National Cemetery, this annual observance combines patriotic music, military traditions, reflection, and remembrance in a setting dedicated to those who served. The program includes beloved American selections, hymns of faith and devotion, tributes to our fallen heroes, and time-honored military honors.
This year's ceremony is presented in collaboration with Operation Warrior Resolution, whose mission of service and support for veterans helps strengthen the connection between remembrance and continued care for those who have borne the burden of military service.
