About the event
This free Memorial Day concert features patriotic favorites, military tributes, and reflective musical works honoring the courage, sacrifice, and service of America’s armed forces. The program includes moving selections such as Hymn to the Fallen, Amazing Grace, America the Beautiful, and a ceremonial Armed Forces Salute recognizing each branch of the United States military.
Special guest host and narrator Kendra Simpkins, Founder and CEO of Operation Warrior Resolution, joins the Lakewood Ranch Wind Ensemble for an afternoon of remembrance, gratitude, and community reflection through music. Audience participation will also be welcomed during several patriotic selections as the ensemble honors those who gave their lives in service to our nation.
